    The method used in this book is called Measure Enter Adjust Talk (MEAT)

    Measure

    You will weigh yourself each day. You will need a good digital scale that you can purchase from Amazon.

    Enter

    You will enter your weight into the spreadsheet you build. This will give you some statistics and tell you what to do for the day.

    Adjust

    You will adjust your eating and exercise based on if you ahead or behind your goal. Ahead and you can slack off a little. Behind and you must reduce you calorie intake and increase your calories used.

    Talk

    We will be building a number of tools in Microsoft Excel to help achieve this and at the same time improve our skill in Excel.

    What to eat?

    This diet doesn't specify what you should eat. You'll find this by experimentation. Some diets to try are:
