11 Techniques to Learn Excel and Lose Weight

Lesson 10 - Weigh Yourself Every Day

You can't manage what you don't measure.

One of the most important parts of losing weight is to weigh yourself every day.

Success in almost any endeavor can be had by measuring and then trending towards your goal.

Without a speedometer in your car, you'll get speeding tickets. Without a fuel gauge, you'll run out of gas. Without a daily measurement, you're unlikely to lose weight.

When you put on weight it doesn't happen overnight. It happens one pound at a time. The quicker you know you have a problem the sooner you can try to change something.

You can tell if you're overweight by measuring your height and weight and plugging it into the BMI Formula.

If you want to improve your health, measure some aspect of it. Try to improve the aspect and then if it works do more and if it doesn't do less.

Measuring is converting something into a number and then using it for comparison.

To achieve success, identify a way to measure progress on a daily basis and keep adjusting until your trend is moving the way you want it to.

If you don't have a scale you can order one on Amazon. Do it now.

Now to weigh yourself each day you'll need to create a habit. I shower or go to the bathroom each morning so I also use this time to weight myself. Create a spreadsheet and enter the date in column A and your weight in column B.
